SNAPDRAGON 895 WILL NOT REACH THE LEVEL OF THE A15 BIONIC AND EXYNOS 2200

Insiders are vying to report that the future Exynos chip with AMD graphics is better than the competition. It will surpass Apple A15 Bionic, but insignificantly. Naturally, the oldest and most respected chipmaker Qualcomm will try to stay in the lead with the upcoming Snapdragon 895 (tentative name).

Now the American company needs to rehabilitate itself, because the Snapdragon 888 suddenly let everyone down and this is the second time since 2015, when the chip maker stumbled and re-created a hot processor. They need a product that, in terms of the sum of its qualities, will be the first in the Android world.

According to the latest information, the company may offer four clusters of cores for the first time in the Snapdragon 895. One insider reports that the chip architecture will include one high-performance Kryo 780 core (modified Cortex-X2 core), three “mid-range” Kryo 780 cores (custom Cortex-A710 core) and four energy-efficient Kryo 780 cores (Cortex-A510 tuning). which will be divided into two clusters, a couple for each of them.

In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 895 will not reach the Apple A15 Bionic, it will almost be at the A14 level. In confirmation, the insiders cite the Geekbench test data. 4000 points in the multi-core test and 1250 in the single-core test. But objectively, in terms of the power of one core, the new Qualcomm chip still loses to the A14 Bionic; which in the same test gains about 1596 points.

The report also says that the processor will offer support for fast 100-watt charging and the Adreno 730 video accelerator; which in terms of power will lose to the AMD graphics chip in the Exynos 2200. We just have to wait for the announcement of the new flagship chip from Qualcomm and hope that the company will find ways to resolve the issue of possible overheating.
