EMUI 11 rollout completed in all regions and countries, what’s next?

As of now, the EMUI 11 software version has been upgraded in both- mainland market and overseas market. Only a handful of devices remains to be touched by EMUI 11 stable version, meanwhile, the beta test activity has long been concluded in both markets.

Well, EMUI 11 has come with many features impressive software features and system modifications.

EMUI HISTORY:

Since 2012, EMUI is being released on top of Android OS. As of now, Huawei has unveiled eleven versions of the EMUI software system. However, the company may not release any more new version of EMUI in the future as it has planned to shift all of its devices to HarmonyOS.

From EMUI 1 to EMUI 11, this software has shown a revolutionary development in features as well as system performance. Up until last year, every Huawei flagship has been introduced with EMUI software, and from basic customization options to smart AOD, EMUI always brings excitement to consumers.

REGIONS AND DEVICES:

Coming to the last EMUI update, at HDC 2020 Huawei introduced the EMUI 11 system update with its rich array of features. Later, the company tested the eligible devices, which are compatible to run on EMUI 11, and conducted beta testing followed by the stable release.

EMUI 11 has been released in almost every region and country. It covers Middle East, Russia, Asia Pacific, West Europe, Northeast Europe, Latin America, Japan, and India.

Now, moving to the Huawei devices, which received EMUI 11 software update is mainly from Huawei’s flagship P40, Mate 30, P30, and Mate 20 series smartphones. This lineup includes:

  • Huawei P40 Pro+
  • Huawei Mate 30 Pro
  • Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G
  • Huawei Mate Xs

Huawei has already covered these devices in the above-mentioned regions. Now, there are only a few devices are left behind, which can be count on fingers. It won’t take long for the company to concluding the EMUI 11 stable rollout across its all markets.

However, to welcome this brand new mobile software- HarmonyOS 2, we have to bid farewell to Android-based EMUI 11 skin, yet we’re awaiting official confirmation on this matter.
