Huawei’s first HarmonyOS PC could use 16:10 screen, just like Pura X

A 16:10 screen has taken center stage after Huawei featured it with the Pura X foldable, and it looks like the company will use such a display ratio for its first HarmonyOS PC as well. A leak reveals details on the upcoming Huawei notebook.

The Chinese phone maker has scheduled the debut of HarmonyOS PC for next month. Meanwhile, the first HarmonyOS notebook began swirling in leaks and rumors.

As per DigitalChatStation, Huawei is planning to use a 16:10 screen for its upcoming tablet and HarmonyOS PC devices, just like the Pura X foldable phone.

Further inputs reveal that a 16:10 screen will enhance both hardware and software ecosystem experience for users. Such displays offer more vertical screen, making the device (PC, tablet, or smartphone) ideal for productive operations.

The 16:10 aspect ratio eases tasks like coding, document editing, and multi-tasking. It enables users to see more content on the screen without scrolling.

The benefits of a 16:10 screen are also visible on the newly launched Pura X. The device with a wide screen ensures that you can watch videos, read e-books, or browse the net more efficiently than ever before.

An early leak suggested that HarmonyOS-based PC can offer better office work efficiency than Windows PC. Perhaps the 16:10 screen is part of this efficient experience.

Other details and key specs of Huawei’s first HarmonyOS PC device are under wraps at present. Though the company won’t take much time to announce its another “beyond imagination” product for its consumers.

Some previous revelations suggested that HarmonyOS PC could support Windows apps. While the devices won’t run on Microsoft’s operating system, users will still be able to work on their favorite Windows apps as per their requirements.

Will Huawei change this app support segment for its upcoming HarmonyOS PC or keep it the same as the Mate 70 series (dual-app support version) would be worth looking at.
