The Redmi Watch 2 Lite can be purchased globally, having been unveiled last month. The smartwatch has a 1.55-inch IPS display, a GPS module and a SpO2 sensor, among other features.
Last month, Xiaomi quietly launched the Redmi Watch 2 Lite, having unveiled the Redmi Watch 2 and Redmi Smart Band Pro during the same week in China. While the Redmi Watch 2 Lite is not purchasable from Xiaomi’s website, you can already order the smartwatch on AliExpress.
To recap, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite measures 41.2 x 35.3 x 10.7 mm and weighs 35 g with a first-party strap. The smartwatch also has a 1.55-inch IPS display and a 262 mAh battery that should deliver up to 10 days of battery life. The 320 x 360-pixel display is a touchscreen, but Xiaomi has included a physical button for navigating through the UI, too.
According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite has a GPS module, a SpO2 sensor and a heart rate monitor. The smartwatch can relay notifications from your smartphone as well, and contains over 100 exercise modes.
Currently, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite is available to order from US$56.81, although only if you choose for AliExpress to ship it from France or Spain. By contrast, the smartwatch retails for US$59.99 if the retailer ships it from China or Russia. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is only orderable in black, but AliExpress offers the smartwatch with multiple strap colours.
